  • Meeting workplace safety needs
  • Setting a hearing level baseline
  • Identifying existing hearing issues

Please allow about 60 minutes for our audiologist to carry out a thorough and detailed hearing test for your hearing health.

Hearing Tests for Police Entrance Applications

Pilot Medical Hearing Tests
We perform comprehensive employee hearing tests for aviation medicals as required by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority).

Defence Jobs Applications
If you’re applying for entry into the Australian Defence Force, you will need to undergo a medical assessment which includes a hearing test.

Pre-Employment Hearing Tests
When getting a new job, some employers might want a recent audiogram from you to know more about your hearing health.

Routine Workplace Hearing Tests
If your employees are working in a noisy environment, then you might be obliged to organise baseline and routine workplace audiometric testing for your employees.

Reasons to Undergo Employee Hearing Tests

Legal Compliance
Many commercial sectors are legally required under Australian law to have current or potential employees undergo workplace audiometric testing, particular for jobs conducted in workplaces with high noise volumes. Organising testing allows employers to comply with legal requirements and protect themselves from potential legal issues.

Workplace Accident Prevention
Employees must be able to hear and comprehend any instructions they’re given and alarms that may go off during emergencies. Having potential employees undergo pre-employment hearing tests or getting current employees to undertake workplace audiometric testing will determine if there’s a hearing impairment that could cause a workplace accident.

Job Suitability
There are certain lines of work where it’s imperative that employees have a suitable hearing range, such as the aviation sector. Pre-employment hearing tests are an effective way to verify if an applicant’s hearing capabilities are within the acceptable range for them to carry out the type of work they’re being employed to do.
